I am excited to work with you to create the buckle of your dreams. We are only limited by our imagination. Whether it is for you personally, or that someone special I am committed to getting it perfect down to the last detail. Each buckle is handcrafted by me and unique to your specifications. You will need to decide on the type of buckle and the size of the strap you will be using. It is always preferable to have the strap on hand for the perfect fit. This is most important with the four-piece ranger sets. If you are having the strap made it can be tailored to the buckle. The pricing varies depending on the material and level of detail.

This applys to Trophy Buckle. In the "buckle shape" section below there are some basic shapes but the possabilities are endless. If you have somthing different in mind let's make it happen.

Silver, Steel, Copper, Brass and Bronze are all good choices. I do not work in gold because I don’t think it fits my flavor of design. I love to work in sterling silver and feel it is also a great complement to other metals. Silver has been used by makers to adorne western spurs for generations. I ofter try to create the patina gained through time and where. Steel and other non-precious metals do not seem to get the respect they deserve but, in my opinion, they are under rated. Just look at our Starr Buckle, it is incredible.

On a Ranger Set, the loops that hold the tip of the buckle are referred to as keepers. Typically, they are separate pieces but I really like combining the two so that they set more symmetrically on the belt.

A texured background provides contrast and dimension which makes the design pop. My Heart of Texas Buckle is a good example of a non textured background within the heart and a stippled background outside the heart.

It is important to know the width of the belt strap to insure proper fit to the Buckle.

In most cases, your belt size will be two inches more than your waist size.
